Growing up in Chicago and near their home base in Pilsen, I've seen the effects of gentrification and how important it is to preserve the culture, identity, and people that make neighborhoods special. As a young adult, I volunteered with The Resurrection Project on voter registration and their cultural events in Pilsen. I've seen firsthand their commitment to strengthening communities through housing, civic engagement, and community-centered programming.

I wanted to give back to the neighborhood that raised me. My hope is that these shirts represent more than a design — they serve as a reminder of the power of belonging, investing in our neighborhoods, and supporting one another."
